Fraser Health Authority Selects GoldCare for Home and Community Care

Campana Systems Inc. is pleased to announce that Fraser Health Authority in British Columbia has selected Campana's award-winning software, GoldCare, to provide the core applications for a new home and community-care information system.
GoldCare is a modular application that utilizes advanced database and Internet technologies to provide a comprehensive, fully-integrated suite of applications. Since its inception, Campana Systems of Waterloo, Ontario has been a leading provider of care and management software, implementing GoldCare in over 200 organizations in Canada, United States, Australia and New Zealand.
By selecting GoldCare, Fraser Health Authority (FHA) is implementing leading technologies and processes that will enhance service management, planning and scheduling of community services for clients while in their homes or in community care facilities. FHA is implementing GoldCare in a number of phases, over the next two years, with the initial implementation focused on Home and Community Care Services.
Moving to the GoldCare electronic assessment and health care record will assist FHA to support care providers in the community and allow greater integration of information across their many programs and services. Electronic interfaces and links to provincial and acute care systems will further enhance the ability of FHA to provide quality care to clients in a community setting. By providing a single, electronic record containing demographic, needs assessment, care planning and service delivery data for each client, GoldCare enables FHA to analyze and plan current and future service delivery needs based on easily accessible, accurate information.
