AXIS ERS SmartSpot provides hands-free, rules-based call spotting. When you combine SmartSpot with auto-dispatch features, Emergency Road Service spots and dispatches routine calls automatically, without dispatcher intervention.
SmartSpot's dispatching capabilities matches an incoming road service call with the best available garage and driver. On busy days, SmartSpot locates the most appropriate call from your wait queue for a newly-available driver.
With highly configurable options, SmartSpot is a powerful, flexible tool for defining custom spotting rules that match your club's practices and preferences. For example, you can create configurations for regular day time use, rush hour and late-night conditions, as well as modify the rules on the spot to adapt to changed conditions, like road construction.
SmartSpot improves your club's overall response time, and frees dispatchers to handle unusual situations and monitor operations.
When your club receives a call, SmartSpot uses AutoSpot's grid locating capabilities to identify the call grid. Then, SmartSpot find an available driver.
The SmartSpot system consistently uses your rules to calculate a driver's eligibility and suitability. Among other criteria, SmartSpot considers the driver's location (grid), service type (for example, tow), estimated travel time to the client, and the garage's priority.
SmartSpot provides a variety of reports to help you manage and monitor activity. You can use these reports to fine tune SmartSpot settings while using ERS Real-Time Club Dispatching to handle active calls.
