AXIS Phone Ahead works with AXIS Emergency Road Service (ERS) to provide fully automated voice recordings of estimated time of arrival and on scene time to clients.
Phone Ahead is a two component package that includes:
- a fully integrated application for Emergency Road Service
- a Windows product on one or more standalone PCs with Dialogic voice cards and ports that accommodate mulitple phone lines
If a client asks to be contacted with progress information, the dispatcher, driver, or the system initiates an automated call by selecting the pre-recorded message that conveys the most appropriate message. Phone Ahead calls the client, plays the specified message, and then sends the results of the call back to the dispatcher or driver.
Providing quality service to clients is important, so Emergency Road Service monitors driver response times to make sure they are arriving on scene before the ETA expires.
If a driver has not arrived by a pre-defined time, Emergency Road Service automatically requests an ETA from the dispatcher or driver. Then, if necessary, Emergency Road Service instructs Phone Ahead to send out a new ETA message to the client. Dispatchers can monitor this automated process.
