Digital Dispatch
“In the past, busy days meant a bottleneck. Digital Dispatch is an efficient way to get calls out to the driver, and it provides comprehensive background information for follow-up.

ERS Digital Dispatch works with in-vehicle (Mentor Ranger™/MDC) and hand-held (RIM BlackBerry®) wireless communication devices to provide timely, efficient call processing and accurate driver location tracking. You can send and receive information using a variety of wireless solutions, allowing your club to choose the networks that work best for your territory.
Digital Dispatch streamlines the call process—using SmartSpot, call dispatching occurs without dispatcher intervention—and transmits complete call information to the service vehicle, where the mobile data device receives the information and alerts the driver.
Digital Dispatch can dispatch calls to a garage, when the garage supervisor also operates a service vehicle. Dispatchers send calls to the supervisor's MDT/MDC and the supervisor reassigns calls to other drivers. This reduces dispatcher workloads, and lets the garage take responsibility for their call distribution.
Digital Dispatch supports Battery Assist sales by allowing drivers to look up battery pricing and availability from their MDCs and then process the sales, including credit card authorizations.
By pressing a key on the mobile data unit, drivers can change their call statuses, refuse calls, provide information, and clear calls. All driver changes immediately update the information at your club.
Similarly, any changes initiated by the dispatcher are immediately retransmitted to the driver, ensuring that both parties always have up-to-the minute and complete information.
